"OTAC ROKO" - KRK

Type
of vessel "stilac",
original Croatian shipbuilding,
built in 1939. Slatine, Trogir
as transport ship for wine.
Powered only by force of
wind she was actually sail ship
with two masts. In World War
II, ship sailed under various
flags and 1945. served in
Partisan's army as a supply
vessel from Pula to Trieste.
Next 40 years "Otac Roko"
sailed between Dalmatian
ports and islands as a
merchant ship.

In
1999. ship has been reconstructed completely for a transport of
tourists on one-day trips. She is 17 meters long, 5 meters wide,
entirely made of wood, powered by 6 cylinders motor of 200 HP. Ship
is equipped with all modern navigational equipment (radar, echo-locator
etc.). Ship have 2 WC (mail / female), kitchen, acclimatized bar,
covered deck with tables for dining, sunny deck. She can carry max.
60 passengers and have all certificates and permits issued by Croatian
ship registers. From 2003. home port of "Otac Roko" is
city of Krk on a Krk island and her only purpose is to take tourists
on one-day trips to surrounding beautiful small islands and hidden
beaches.
